Policy and prevention measures
To ensure your safety and that of our employees, we are doing everything we can to welcome you in an environment that complies with the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada and provincial authorities.
We pay increased attention to the cleaning and disinfection of the chalets. However, we remind you that compliance with sanitary measures is the tenants' responsibility at all times.
Modification or cancellation
If access to your booked chalet is not prohibited by government directives, the standard cancellation and modification policy below applies.
If government or regulatory restrictions prevent you from accessing the chalet you have reserved, you can, at your convenience, postpone your stay or obtain a credit valid for 12 months following the cancellation. The new reservation dates will be limited according to the availability of the chalets, the rate per night and the minimum length of stay in force. There will be no extension of the eligibility period (12 months) or refund of unused credits.
It is your responsibility to contact us when a new government directive is put in place to verify your options.
A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the reservation (with taxes) will be charged to your credit card at the time of reservation.
The balance of the total amount of the reservation (with taxes) will be charged to your credit card 30 days before the date of arrival.
Additional costs will be charged upon departure:
Additional fee for dogs: $60 (per dog and stay)
Housekeeping costs: variable amount depending on the type of chalet
Prices are subject to change without notice.
There will be no changes or refunds for price changes.
Any changes must be made within 30 days of the arrival date.
If our prices change after you have made your reservation, we will not change the price of your reservation.
For any cancellation made 31 days or more before the arrival date, a cancellation fee of $125 per chalet will be retained.
If you cancel within 15 to 30 days of your arrival date, we will retain the deposit of 50% of the total amount of the reservation (including taxes).
If you cancel within 15 days of your arrival date, we will keep the full amount of the reservation (with taxes).
Refunds, if any, will be made within 5 business days of cancellation.
Expenses for unjustified absence
If you fail to arrive without notice at the reserved BESIDE chalets before midnight on the scheduled day of arrival, we will retain the full amount of the reservation (with taxes).
A security deposit of $500 (+ $300 for dogs) will be held on your credit card within 48 hours prior to your arrival.
